SHOT Show 2013

As you all know, I was out in Vegas this year, again... with Primary Weapons Systems (PWS). They are the makers of the most reliable piston driven AR platform that I have ever used. I have written extensively about my experiences using the MK1 and MK2 series rifles in training, and to say that I am a fan of the Long Stroke Piston System, is an understatement.

Keeping the changes quiet was a very difficult task for me. PWS has essentially, raised the bar to a very high level. Keep an eye on PWS for up and coming things... this company is built on ethics, staffed by shooters, and committed to quality.

If you are in the market for a stone cold, reliable AR, that needs very MINIMAL TLC, have a look.

Stacey talked about the new MK3 bolt action precision rifle that PWS is now making. This rifle makes me drool. However, I do not have ANY time on one, so I could not speak intelligently about it. However, I did fondle it quite a bit, and it is on my short list of "must haves".

My plan is to get my hands on a MK118 Wraith and use it in 3 Gun, and local TAC Rifle meets, as well as testing it as a peremeter rifle / SPR type rig. I also have a MK218 on que, to fill the role as a SWS in the LE world... once I get them in hand, I will detail my findings. Handling them at SHOT was like petting a unicorn...
